Everyone has their own apartment and is free to live the life that they choose, but the team on-site, led by Registered Care Manager Sammy Ravelin, provide support and personal care for any of the residents who need it.
The range of activities at Marston Gardens is enough to keep anyone busy, with Kara-oke nights, film nights, gardening, bingo, World Food nights featuring cuisines from around the world, arts and crafts and volunteering opportunities. Sammy and her team support the residents to choose activities that they like and to put on events each week.
We have and do support residents to access educational opportunities by going to college, we support people to volunteer at the local hospice, Merseyside Police Stables and to go to Football Matches at Everton. Marston Gardens has developed such a good reputation that we were chosen to be a showcase for the kind of work we do by officers at Knowsley Council, and on 5th September we were honoured to receive a Scrutiny visit from Knowsley Councillors.
